We were not greeted and on one of the few free tables was still the dishes of the previous guests, the service was completely overwhelmed. Much too much powder in the chai latte and our order landed on the ground before it reached the table (shards everywhere) Guests cleaned and vacuumed because otherwise none of the children present could have played again. You should 1. Plan more staff And 2. Set up catering staff that is able to communicate and interact. That was our last visit for now. We have already tried it several times and have never been really satisfied.

Ordered sheep cheese salad, however, got a normal salad. Salad made no sense, just some leaves. A roughly sliced ​​cucumber and tomato and a few chicken pieces with a few drops of dressing. Very simple .. Baquettes were also skimpy dressed. It also took a long time before the order was ready. Service was nice but really have to learn how to make a decent salad. Unfortunately.

Great idea. While the kids play, you can relax and enjoy a coffee or more. Very nice colleague, who did not have it easy because of technical problems, but mastered everything well. The ambience is beautiful and even the sanitary facility (nursing room ...) was pleasant. Recommended.

It is the place to be for families with kids in Detmold! One of our favorite spots, especially winter time! You can enjoy a light meal, delicious cakes and cookies or drinks as your kids play in the play corner. Gets pretty crowded Saturday mornings, but don't know if they get reservations.

A terrific family friendly cafe, with tasty food and drinks in the heart of this super little town. There is a small play area for the children, and no-one is bothered by a bit of shouting and running about. The staff even helped us out with our faltering German grammar. Well worth a visit if you have under-5s.

Excellent! Very friendly service, great play area with toys for older and very small children (my two are just two and five years old), friendly and clean toilet with large changing table, food and drinks delicious and at reasonable prices - we certainly do not come! Keep it up! :)

Our navigation system first sent us both to another cafe. In case that happens to you too, this cafe is opposite the Lortzig pharmacy. In any case, the cafe is well set up for all needs of small children and parents. But there were also childless guests who drank their coffee there satisfied. I warmly recommend it to everyone!
